Old CDs and DVDs, especially the broken ones, would be an environmental threat if disposed improperly.

Prepare all the needed materials for this Valentine crafting project
- A piece of old CD or DVD
- A piece of black crafting felt
- 1-meter long black grosgrain ribbon that is 1-centimeter in width
- A pair of scissors
- A silver or chain
- A piece of medium-sized crystal stone or any fashionable stone that you prefer
- A diagonal cutting pliers
- A long nose pliers
- A hot glue
Step-by-step process of creating the DIY Valentine Heart Bib Necklace
Step 1: Cut a medium-sized heart shape from the black crafting felt that would perfectly fit right on top of your mid-chest.
Step 2: Randomly cut the old CD or DVD into pieces.
Step 3: Properly place the CD or DVD pieces on the black heart felt. This will give you a clear idea as to what would be the position of each piece would take on the heart piece.
Step 4: Glue the CD or DVD pieces of the heart based on the proper placement of each piece.
Step 5: Insert the silver chain on each of the sides of the crystal stone or fashionable stone that you have. Use long nose pliers for closing and opening the links of the chain. Make sure that the length of the chain would be equal on each of the sides.
Step 6: Carefully insert the free ends of the chain from the crystal stone or the fashionable stone to the main body of the Valentine heart bib. Make an approximation at the bottom of the heart near the pointed part of its body. Take note that the distance of the left side from the pointed body should be equal on the right side from the pointed body of the heart bib.
Step 7: Wrap the black grosgrain ribbon around your neck to measure the length of the grosgrain ribbon to be used. The measurement should have an extra 6-10 inches for the provision of creating a bow as a lock at the end of the heart bib necklace. Cut the black grosgrain ribbon based on the neck’s approximate measurement.
Step 8: Generously glue one end of the grosgrain ribbon at the back of the heart. Each end of the grosgrain ribbon should correspond to each curved on the top of the heart bib. Let the glue dry for about 5-mins.
