DIY Homemade Mosquito Repellent

Even if you aren’t sure if this homemade mosquito repellent works, wouldn’t it be worth it to try. At least you won’t be covering your body and your child’s body with potential harmful chemicals. And you probably will smell a heck of lot better. Here are the simple ingredients you need to make a DIY mosquito repellent that is safe for you and your family.

18 ounces (1/2 litre) of alcohol (Triple distilled alcohol such as Vodka)
3.5 ounces in weight (100 grams) of whole cloves
3.5 ounces in volume (100 ml) of baby oil

Leave cloves to marinate in alcohol for four days
Stir daily in the morning and evening
After 4 days add the oil

How to use:
Gently rub a few drops into the skin of the arms and legs. Enjoy your mosquito-free day.
